Khao Yai has grown to become an all-time favourite destination for local and foreign visitors alike. It is approximately 200 km from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport, requiring a traveling time of about 2 to 3 hours by car. For a hassle-free and relaxing experience, it is recommended to hire a car or a van (depending on your group size) with a driver to send you to Khao Yai and drive you around while you are there.
A main reason for its popularity is the full plethora of gorgeous instagrammable attractions all over Khao Yai. Here are three new photogenic spots that are not to be missed!
Floryday Khaoyai: Cafe & Flower
Floryday Khaoyai is a newly-opened venue consisting of a minimalist cafe and a terraced flower field covered with different varieties of beautiful flowers. Visitors can knock themselves out by taking gorgeous photos in the flower field, followed by some refreshing beverages and snacks at the cafe. There is also a mini zoo where visitors can feed and pet little pigs and rabbits – a great activity for kids.
Trot Cafe Khaoyai
Trot Cafe Khaoyai is a spacious country-style cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating areas, located in Rancho Charnvee Resort & Country Club. Visitors can take their time to enjoy the drinks and food amid nature and watch horses graze on the lawn in front of the cafe. More interactive activities with the horses are also available, like feeding and walking them, and of course, taking memorable pictures with these majestic animals up-close.
Converted from an old marble factory, Within Khaoyai is a new landmark cafe in Khao Yai. The cafe has a garden centerpiece assembled with large marble rocks to resemble the world famous prehistoric monument – Stonehenge in England. Keeping to its theme, marble is also a prominent feature in the interior design of the café such as the floors, walls and counters.
