Terms & Conditions:
- The TAT Singapore August Video Contest is open to Singapore-based Facebook users who have liked and followed Tourism Authority of Thailand – Singapore Branch Office (@tat.sg) on Facebook.
- Each Singapore-based Facebook user will be entitled to one submission.
- Users will have to create a short video clip showcasing their favourite moments in Thailand.
- The short video clip submission should be at least 30 seconds long, to be uploaded onto the Singapore-based Facebook user’s own Facebook profile, containing video clips of their favourite moments in Thailand during a previous trip to Thailand.
- The video clip should be shot using the Facebook user’s own footage.
- Slideshows of photos will not be accepted.
- The post on the Singapore-based Facebook user’s own Facebook profile containing the participating video will be required to be set to Public. A short caption or video description including the hashtag #TATSGthairifficvideo must be provided to the video submission.
- The Public link to the video will need to be commented under the contest thread on Tourism Authority of Thailand – Singapore Branch Office’s Facebook Page.
- Submitted videos shall not include any commercial representation or advertising, offensive elements, inappropriate elements, obscene elements, or any illegal activities deemed in the Kingdom of Thailand and the Republic of Singapore.
- Video clips not belonging to the Facebook user will result in disqualification.
- Multiple submissions from the same Facebook account will result in disqualification.
- The last day to submit the video entry will be on 31 August 2020, 11.59pm.
- One (1) Grand Prize winner will be drawn by Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Singapore Office at the end of the contest period to win one voucher for 3 nights accommodation at Pathumwan Princess Hotel at a Grand Deluxe room with daily breakfast for 2 persons and one voucher for an all-you-can-eat a la carte buffet at Kongju Korean Restaurant for 2 persons.
- Five (5) Consolation Prize winners will be drawn by Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Singapore Office at the end of the contest period to win 2 x S$20 GrabFood Vouchers each, forming a total value of S$40 worth of GrabFood Vouchers.
- The expiry date for one voucher for 3 nights accommodation at Pathumwan Princess Hotel at a Grand Deluxe room with daily breakfast for 2 persons and one voucher for an all-you-can-eat a la carte buffet at Kongju Korean Restaurant for 2 persons is on 31 October 2021. Blackout dates apply for the vouchers, to be checked directly with Pathumwan Princess Hotel and Kongju Korean Restaurant during booking.
- The one voucher for 3 nights accommodation at Pathumwan Princess Hotel at a Grand Deluxe room with daily breakfast for 2 persons and one voucher for an all-you-can-eat a la carte buffet at Kongju Korean Restaurant for 2 persons are also governed by the terms and conditions of MBK Group, Pathumwan Princess Hotel, Kongju Korean Restaurant, and all relevant service providers.
- The expiry date for 2 x S$20 GrabFood Vouchers each, forming a total value of S$40 worth of GrabFood Vouchers is on 26 October 2020. The GrabFood Vouchers are valid for use within Singapore only.
- The 2 x S$20 GrabFood Vouchers each, forming a total value of S$40 worth of GrabFood Vouchers are also governed by the terms and conditions of GrabFood, Grab Holdings Inc., and all relevant service providers.
- Failure to inform Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Singapore Office of an acceptance of the prize(s) 2 days after the winner announcement and contact shall constitute a rejection by the Winner and Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Singapore Office reserves the right to award the prize(s) to another participant.
- No refunds or replacements will be allowed for the unutilized prize, and there will be no cash replacement or exchange as the award.
- All other costs and expenses associated with this contest and prize, including but not limited to, transportation or any other costs of a personal nature that are not stated shall be solely borne by the winners.
- In the case of receiving less than 10 entries by the last day of submission, Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Singapore Office reserves the right to terminate the contest with or without prior notice, without any prize(s) issued to any winner(s).
- By submitting your personal and contact details to Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Singapore Office, you consent to allow Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Singapore Office to contact you and to verify your personal and contact details in the case of winning the prizes, and for future marketing and communication purposes.
- By submitting your video as a participation to Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Singapore Office, you consent to allow Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Singapore Office to publicly publish the video as content on all Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Singapore Office online platforms as part of the announcement of winners and for future marketing and communication purposes.
- Failure to comply with any of the requirements set out in these terms and conditions will result in disqualification.
- Decisions made by Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Singapore Office are final and no further correspondence will be entertained.
