Terms & Conditions:
1. The TAT Singapore December Facebook Comment Contest is open to Singapore-based Facebook users who have liked and followed Tourism Authority of Thailand – Singapore Branch Office (@tat.sg) on Facebook.
2. Users will have to comment the Thai name of Thai Milk Tea in the comment section of the contest post. Two main answers will be accepted, namely, “Cha Yen” and “Cha Nom Yen”. Reasonable variations to the spelling of the two main answers are acceptable.
3. The user should not include any other information (eg. stories about Thai Milk Tea) in the comment.
4. Entries shall not include any commercial representation or advertising, offensive elements, inappropriate elements, obscene elements, or any illegal activities deemed in the Kingdom of Thailand and the Republic of Singapore.
5. Each Facebook account will be entitled to one submission. Duplicate submissions will result in disqualification. Multiple submissions from the same Facebook user, including creation of duplicate Facebook accounts by the same user, will result in disqualification.
6. The last day to submit the comment will be on 22 December 2020, 11.59pm, GMT+8 Singapore Time.
7. Five (5) winners commenting the correct answer will be drawn at random by Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Singapore Office at the end of the contest period to win one (1) TAT Gift Set each comprising of one (1) Drawstring Bag, one (1) Water Bottle, one (1) Highlighter, one (1) Luggage Tag and one (1) Tuk Tuk Tote Bag.
8. In the event that the original prize is not available, TAT reserves the right to substitute a portion of or the entire prize with another of equivalent value.
9. The prize will be delivered to the user’s given address. The user must inform TAT of their delivery address by 24 December 2020, 12.00pm. The user must ensure that he or she is physically present at the specified address on 28 December 2020 between 10.00am to 12.00pm. If the winner is not physically present to receive the prize, the winner would have been deemed to voluntarily forfeit the prize.
10. The winner must furnish TAT with his or her contact details to facilitate the delivery of the prize. If the winner does not furnish TAT with his or her contact details and/or furnishes inaccurate contact details and/or remains uncontactable for a reasonable length of time during the delivery process, the winner would have been deemed to voluntarily forfeit the prize.
11. The winner must ensure that the total sum of persons of their group (if any) in addition to TAT’s team of three (3) persons must not exceed eight (8) persons. Masks must be worn at all times during the delivery process by all persons, including residential addresses.
12. Failure to inform TAT Singapore Office of an acceptance and fully furnished details by 24 December 2020, 12pm, after the winner announcement and contact, shall constitute a rejection by the Winner and TAT Singapore Office reserves the right to forfeit the prize.
13. Should the winner be in a restricted area eg. condominium or office, the winner must clear TAT’s team and vehicle into the premise in order to delivery the prize to the winner. In the event that TAT’s team and/or vehicle cannot be cleared into the premise, and no other reasonable alternatives can be found, the winner would have been deemed to have voluntarily forfeited the prize.
14. Photos and video recordings will be taken during the delivery of prizes. By accepting the prize, the winner and other persons within the photo-taking and video recording sessions consent to the use of the photos and videos for use in marketing and promotional purposes by TAT.
15. In the event that the winner does not consent to the use of their photos and videos for use in marketing and promotional purposes by TAT when first contacted by TAT, the winner would have been deemed to have voluntarily forfeited the prize.
16. During the delivery, the winner and other persons within the recordings shall not include any commercial representation or advertising, offensive elements, inappropriate elements, obscene elements, or any illegal activities deemed in the Kingdom of Thailand and the Republic of Singapore.
17. No refunds or replacements will be allowed for the unutilized prize, and there will be no cash replacement or exchange as the award.
18. Decisions made by Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Singapore Office are final and no further correspondence will be entertained.
