Bangkok, 03 April, 2020, at 09.00 Hrs. – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) would like to provide a further update on the Thai government’s 22.00 – 04.00 Hrs. nationwide curfew, which starts today, 3 April, 2020, that Bangkok’s public transport have adjusted the service hours accordingly as part of the effort to contain the spread of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Airport Rail Link is operating daily services from 05.30-21.30 Hrs. with the last trains leaving Suvarnabhumi Airport and Phaya Thai stations at 21.00 Hrs., respectively, effective from 3 April, 2020. For more info: www.srtet.co.th
BTS Skytrain is operating daily services until 21.30 Hrs. Its first trains start from the Kasetsart University and Kheha stations at 05.15 Hrs., and from the National Stadium and Bang Wa stations at 05.30 Hrs., effective from 3 April, 2020. For more info: www.bts.co.th
MRT Bangkok Metro is operating daily services for its MRT Blue and Purple Lines from 06.00 – 21.30 Hrs., effective from 3 April, 2020. For more info: www.bemplc.co.th
Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BMTA) has suspended all night-time bus services (00.00 – 04.00 Hrs.) and adjusted all timetables for normal and air-conditioned buses to cease at 22.00 Hrs. daily with the last buses leaving at 21.00 Hrs., effective from 3 April, 2020. The frequency of all bus services throughout the day have been adjusted in accordance with the situation. Passengers are urged to use the monthly pass to reduce person-to-person contact with ticket sellers to minimise the risk of COVID-19 infection. For more info: www.bmta.co.th
BMTA private joint buses, which operate on 16 routes, have adjusted the service hours and routes, and temporarily suspended weekend buses and services on certain routes, effective from 3 April, 2020. For more info: www.bmta.co.th
Chao Phraya Express Services is now operating only from Monday to Friday, effective from 3 April, 2020. The orange-flag boats operate from 06.00 – 19.00 Hrs.
