Tranquil Green Spaces In Bangkok

Tranquil Green Spaces In Bangkok

Looking for an outdoor dating spot in Bangkok? We have got you covered with a list of 4 recommended green spaces for you to spend quality time with your loved ones in nature.

Let’s check them out: Santi Chai Prakarn Public Park, Patom Organic Living, Lumpini Park, and Suan Rod Fai.

Santi Chai Prakarn Public Park

Located along the Chao Phraya River, this small urban park is quiet and peaceful. There are many grassy areas where you can lay down, relax, or even have a picnic.

As you walk in the park, you may spot a white historic structure called the Phra Sumen Fort. It was built in the reign of King Rama I.

In front of the fort, there is a wide lawn with steps. From the late afternoon to evening, it is common for you to see kids running around from tree to tree, groups of students hanging out, or people playing guitar in this area.

Another highlight that you should not miss is the riverside terrace. It is where you can get a 180-degree view of the Chao Phraya River and watch the beautiful sunset with your lover. It also offers a magnificent view of the Rama VIII bridge.

Patom Organic Living

Being more than a cafe, Patom Organic Living is surrounded by greenery where couples and families can hang out and have fun doing activities after their meals.

Their cafe is a beautiful glass house decorated in a modern style, making it a good spot for instagrammable photos. Apart from letting the natural light in, it also allows diners to enjoy the green garden scenery while dining.

Here, they use raw materials from their certified organic farm and local organic farmers supported by the Sookjai Foundation to ensure quality and healthy food and drinks. They also sell organic body products such as soaps, lips, and herbal inhalers.

This lovely and tranquil park is well maintained with several species of flowers and plants. You may also spot squirrels, birds and monitor lizards. As the park is located quite far away from the main road, there will be lower traffic noise.

To get here, you can take either the BTS to Mo Chit Station or the MRT to Chatuchak Park station. Suan Rod Fai is only a 10-minute walk away from both stations.
