Pray For Love At These 3 Temples In Bangkok

Looking for a soulmate? Praying for love may help! While there are numerous temples in Bangkok, some are more specialized in relationship-related matters.

First, we have the Trimurti Shrine at Central World. It is one of the most famous sites where singles pray for their love as Thais believe that the Trimurti (three Hindu gods) symbolizes love and hope for humanity. The best praying timing is at 9.30 AM or 9.30 PM on Thursday.

Next is Uma Devi Temple, commonly known among locals as Wat Kheak. It is located in the heart of Silom road. Singles usually come here to worship the Hindu goddess Mariamman for their success in love. The belief originated from the devoted love between Mariamman and God Siva.

Apart from Hindu temples, we also have the Chao Mae Pradu Shrine at Chinatown, which houses the Mazu goddess. If you are praying for general matters, use 33 incense sticks. For love matters, you will need 45 incense sticks. Some also worship with a pair of red candles, pairs of 5 sweet fruits, and a pearl necklace.

Enjoy Your Nightlife in Phuket

What could be better than spending a night at a party or a live concert? Every year, Phuket hosts many night events, attracting a huge crowd of local and foreign tourists.

One increasingly popular party in Phuket is the Phuket Full Moon Party on Paradise Beach, near Patong Beach. The party is on an isolated beach so you can fully enjoy the loud music played by international DJs and the lively dance floor. Don’t forget their highlight, the fire show.

Apart from getting to meet new people, you may also make some friends here. If you are interested in joining, the party dates usually coincide with a full moon day. There are different types of tickets, starting at 800 THB.

However, if you prefer live music, there are several concerts from local and international bands performing annually in Phuket, such as the UnKonscious Beach Festival. If you are lucky, you may even catch free concerts!

A Train Trip To Pasak Chonlasit Dam

Enjoy a slow life by taking a special train from Bangkok to Pasak Chonlasit Dam, another hidden gem of Thailand. There are two types of trains: with fans and with air-conditioners. If you want to feel the natural breeze, we recommend the train with fans.

During the trip, the train will stop at the viewpoint where you have 30 minutes to take photos of beautiful scenery surrounded by water bodies before leaving for the next destination. This special train is called the Floating Train as it seems like it actually floats on the water.

After a while, you will arrive at Khok Salung station. If you are hungry, you can buy some food and snacks here.

At Pasak Chonlasit Dam, there are many activities for you to do, such as exploring this place by tram, visiting an aquarium, sightseeing, cycling, and feeding the fish. There is also a food center selling a wide range of Thai food.

While singles searching for their other half may be interested in the first activity, those wanting some alone time may prefer the train trip. Since each activity is unique, it’s totally up to you to decide!
