Let’s explore these wonderful places: Chiang Khan, Surat Thani, and Doi Pui Co. You will surely be blown away by their beauty!

Visit Chiang Khan

Located in Loei province in the Northeastern region, this once little-known Mekong-side town has become a popular destination among locals and tourists. Despite that, it remains peaceful and charming.

To experience local culture and lifestyle, you may cycle around the traditional timber shophouses in this old town.

Enjoy The Scenery At Surat Thani

Apart from being the largest province in the Southern region of Thailand, Surat Thani is also known as a gateway to many much-visited islands such as Koh Samui, Koh Pha Ngan, and Koh Tao. However, it has much more to offer.

The most famous attraction here is Rajjaprabha Dam or Chiao Lan Lake. Its breathtaking scenery of undulating limestone mountains, emerald water, and floating mist in the blue sky will surely amaze you. Undoubtedly, it is dubbed as Guilin of Thailand. The peaceful atmosphere makes it a perfect spot to spend time with yourself while immersing in this beautiful nature.

Hike at Doi Pui Co

What would be better for a single traveler than a hiking trip? Doi Pui Co or Doi Pui, located 1,406 meters above sea level, is known as the Golden Savannah of Mae Hong Son. The name is given because between January and February, the grassy plain at the peak will turn gold.

At the top of Doi Pui, you will see an amazing 360-degree scenery and a sea of mist. You can also catch both sunrise and sunset here. Without lighting and buildings, it is a perfect place to watch bright and sparkling stars at night.

There are a few things you need to take note of before embarking on your journey.

First, you are not recommended to drive a car due to the condition of the roads. Therefore, we suggest you hire the locals to drive for you as they are more experienced with the route. After the ride, you will need to hike for around 850 meters to the top.

Secondly, there is no food stall up there, so do prepare your own food and water.

Last but not least, remember to bring your own tent if you plan to spend a night to chill and reconnect with nature

While each of the 3 trips has its own uniqueness, we believe that you will gain memorable experiences regardless of the journey you choose. So, let’s get ready to explore!
