Love: Trimurti Shrine Bangkok

One of the most famous sites where singles pray for their love is Trimurti Shrine, located outside the Central World.

The Trimurti Shrine comprises the three most powerful Hindu gods: Brahma (the creator), Vishnu (the preserver), and Shiva (the destroyer).

Although the shrine was originally associated with success, prosperity, and happiness, it is currently an established venue for people searching for soulmates to make a prayer and offering. Thais believe that the Trimurti symbolizes love and unity.

To pray, prepare nine red roses, one rose garland, and nine red incense sticks. This is because roses are believed to represent love, and nine is a Thais’ lucky number. If you are single, also bring along one red candle. For those attached, bring along one pair of red candles.

The recommended praying timing is at 9.30 AM or best at 9.30 PM on Thursday.

Open Hours: Daily, 24 hours

Location: Pathum Wan, Pathum Wan District, Bangkok 10330

Love & Career: Sri Maha Mariamman Temple Bangkok

Sri Maha Mariamman Temple, commonly known among locals as Wat Khaek, is a famous Hindu temple located in a busy Silom area, Bangkok. The temple’s name reflects the founder’s belief in Shakti, which is mainly dedicated to Goddess Mariamman.

There are multiple colorful sculptures of gods and goddesses carved against the walls, roofs, and pillars at this South Indian-style temple.

Singles looking for love and couples who want to have children usually come here to worship the Hindu goddess Mariamman. The belief originated from the devoted love between Mariamman and God Siva. You may purchase an offering set at the temple.
